I call this a nibblet.

I'd be sure to lie with you.
I'd lie beside you.
I'd in unison sigh with you.

I submitted some pieces for an art auction for Habitat for Humanity in Bloomington. Something I've always battled with is does my art actually make a difference, does it help anyone? So when the opportunity came up, I really wanted to. I knew in my head that the paintings wouldn't sell for anything near what I price them at. So the selling price didn't surprise me. All I have to say is that one thing about helping others is that your pride must take a secondary role. You have to stop thinking about how you are better than someone and reach out. This auction just reinforced my thoughts regarding that. I knew it would. I just hope the total of $76 USD can help with the house building.
Gaza Strip like a gold mine of mine.
When she shines, she shines like an idea.

But like so many other ideas,
none as good as first thought.

Gaza Strip like a forlorn waste land,
sand blows and sun burns.

If only we'd known how crazy she'd be to us
Armageddon would've never come.
